Holon served as the transaction advisor to the owners of “Klinika Bocian” network of infertility, gynecology and obstetrics clinics, in the process of purchase of My Clinic Riga.
The acquisition is expected to reinforce the company's growth strategy, as it follows Klinika Bocian’s 2018 acquisition of IVITA, a Poznań IVF treatment centre, and the opening of its newest clinics in Warsaw and Szczecin in 2019
Moreover, its move to acquire My Clinic is its first and essential step to grow internationally. There have been talks of expansion into other CEE urban centres, and the company is set on completing more acquisitions in the region.
As Krzysztof Mrugacz, the COO and CFO of Klinika Bocian Group states: "The acquisition of My Clinic demonstrates our desire to grow, and it is yet another proof of how we provided, again with the help of Holon, an attractive and well-structured solution to the selling company. We negotiated and managed to close the deal smoothly despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic. We look forward to supporting the founder, Dr Maris Arais, in the next phase of My Clinic’s development."
