Sell-side Advice
Capital advisory to the owner in the process of attracting a financial investor for KAN Group – leading Polish clothing company operating under the „Tatuum” brand.
It is with pleasure that we inform you of the completion of our next transaction this year, namely the securing of a financial investor for our client, the KAN Group, which is a leading Polish clothing company operating under the „Tatuum” brand.
The transaction took the form of a capital increase. In addition the company gained access to debt capital enabling it to implement accelerated development. A controlling stake in the company was acquired by funds managed by PAAN Capital. The transaction value has not been disclosed.
The aim of the investment is to strengthen the position of the KAN Group on the Polish market and expansion in the retail network channel and on-line sales. The new investor also intends to improve the operating efficiency of the company.
Holon played the role of transaction advisor to the company's owner. The process of securing an investor carried out by Holon stimulated interest in the transaction from several trade and financial investors. The negotiation process and eventual selection of the investor was a competitive one which allowed the owners to secure the best possible transaction conditions. After transaction completion the existing owners will continue to participate in the development of the company as shareholders as well as managers of certain functions in the company. The management of the company will be strengthened by the investor through individuals with long-term experience in the retail trade.
