Dystrybucja Polska Sp. z o.o., one of the three largest independent postal operators specialising in the distribution of unaddressed mail, has obtained financing for further expansion. The investor is a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors. The Investor acquired a minority stake in the Company through the transaction.
The transaction was conducted in the form of a partial sale of the current shares with a simultaneous increase in the Company's capital. The funds obtained will be assigned for the intensive expansion of the distribution network which is to cover the whole country. In addition to financial resources, the Company also received support in the area of management. Its supervisory board was strengthened by a representative from Enterprise Investors.

Dystrybucja Polska (www.dystrybucjapolska.pl) is one of the leading players in the rapidly expanding direct mail market. The company specialises in the distribution of unaddressed mail. It has been systematically building its market position since the beginning of its activities, i.e. since 2000. It currently has a 27% share of the market of national unaddressed mail distribution. The strategy for the coming four years assumes strong concentration of activities on the unaddressed mail distribution segment. The Company's strategic objective is to gain the leadership position in this segment by 2010.
The company has 58 branches and its own logistical and warehousing facilities, through which it is able to distribute nationally and locally. It currently employs 5 k people who distribute approx. 45 million leaflets per month.
